Yoru no Umi de Otsukisama wo Tsuru is a freeware story-heavy adventure/RPG made in RPG Maker 2000.
Overview[]
In the stormy ocean, you encounter a mermaid. Then you take a job at an inn with some girls, living with them in a strange village. Who will you choose as your bride? While reeling in the moon, a dog fisherman speaks, a certain legend of the sea.
The game takes on a much more visual novel-like approach to it's story. It has the highest amount of endings based on choices you made throughout the story and which girl you pick for your love interest. Just like in Towelket 3 you can choose between a male or female protagonist

Routes[]
As a Dating-Simulator type game, Yoru No Umi allows the player to romance many different characters, which will cause the story to change depending on which character's "Route" the player is on. Based on events and choices the player makes over the course of the game, certain characters will become more attracted to Mocha and will develop a relationship with them. Upon reaching a high enough relationship value, the player can propose to a character, which changes the ending of the game.

Trivia[]
- Green Tea has a map for proposing to her which hints that a route for her was planned, however this map is empty.
- Britva has a panorama picture where she is together with Mocha. This panorama picture is usually seen after Mocha marries a towns person, implying she may have been planned as marriageable.
- There is a panorama picture labeled as an ending and a broken event map showing Mocha falling into the arms of Furi Kusuku, which may have been used for a Furi Kusuku route or a "Bad end".
- There is unused dialogue in the game for Koucha where she sounds extremely perverted and aggressive, which may have been used for a joke route where Koucha becomes unreasonably horny and jealous for Mocha.
- There is an unused map in the game labeled "Nekojita & Warawau date". It may have been planned to be able to date both sisters at once, although it is unknown if there would be an ending for being with both of them.
