Tips[]

Whenever you have access to your Mind you can enter the right door and rest at the beds for free.

Many of the bosses are very resistant to ATK/DEF decrease skills, some of the later ones are outright immune. However, you'll be surprised how many have crippling weaknesses to common status ailments like poison and afraid. An enemy with normal resistance to an ailment has a 60% chance to get afflicted, enemies who resist ailments have a 30% chance. This is modified by the hit chance of the individual ailment skills, some of them have very reliable rates like Venom Blast, Scream and Night.

increasing your own ATK/DF with spells and then firing away with Summon Conchelle/Pon Pon Wave (learned from memories inside your mind relatively early) is also extremely strong.

Walkthrough[]

Chapter 1: The Evil Empire!! Invasion of the Kisechu Aliens.[]

- Inspect the book on the floor, talk to Kimiru.

- In Dust Village, find the village chief in the rightmost house and talk to him twice to challenge him (prepare for the battle as you see fit). Leave the town.

- As Conchelle, move towards the right. Rough up the pon guards blocking the exit.

- Back to the protag/Kimiru: Explore the dust dungeon, you'll find that a "stubborn mass of dust" blocks the exit. Search for the Dust Scissors: A boss battle

Dust Monster (320 HP)

weak to: Blind, Poison, Fire, Stab

will start after you pick up the scissors from the ground. Move back to the dungeon and destroy the dust barrier.

- In the Garbage Dump, it's strongly recommended to buy gas masks: enter the weapon shop and buy masks (250 gold each) for the protagonists and helper. (don't forget to equip them). Enter the house with the boat sign and talk to the rat captain in the back.

- With gas masks equipped on each party member you won't take damage from moving through the noxious sewers. At the narrow part a boss guards the passage to Sewer Town

Sewer Monster (750 HP)

weak to: Sleep, Afraid

resistant to: Water, Fire

The boat breaks down and the captain will need to repair it in Sewer Town.

- In Sewer Town enter the bar in the bottom right corner. Talk to Paripariume to receive her signed CD. Give it to the Pon bouncer in the top left corner of the town to enter the Wedding Hall. Prevent the Groom's wedding. Exit the building and rest the night at the inn. After a brief cutscene the boat is good to go and you can reach the exit of the sewers to the right.

- In the Garden you need to examine the window to your house at the very left. After that enter the ant nest and seek guidance from the ant queen. Take the warp point to the outside and move to the rightmost part of the garden where the bug orchestra (40 HP each, conductor 80 HP) plays. They have no particular strengths or weaknesses. Optional: if you talk to the ant queen again she'll give you housan dango to instantly wipe the orchestra out. (in the original release this is bugged, you need to use the bugfixed version of the game or the housan dango won't have any effect.) After victory you receive the String which allows you to enter your house through the window.

- Inside your house enter the storage room via the mouse hole to the left. Speak to the cat Nekoashi Konbu on the ground.

Chapter 2: Pucchi WoofWoof[]

-Enter Pucchi's room and take her outside the house. On the way you'll find your infested mother. You don't have to defeat her, but doing so will give you an extra accessory.

- On the west side of the Woodling village you'll find the barn. Enter the basement and defeat the kisechu waiting in ambush. Go back outside and inspect the warp point in the middle of the field.

- talk to Pucchi on the satellite station and warp down to Earth. After conversing with the other heroes you'll be warped back to the pon city. Talk to the pon in the groom's bedroom. Cheer up the sulking groom by talking to the Groom, then to Conchelle, and once she you control her to the Groom again. After that talk with Cliche. After the Kisechu ambush take the escape route and choose either "robot hell" or "conchelle hell". To progress in the game you only need to defeat one of the bosses (Conchelle Robot: 850 HP, Giant Robot: 750 HP) at the end, but you can take the other tunnel and defeat the other boss anyway to fill out your memories in the Mind.

- Make your way to the Pon battleship. On the battleship bridge speak to the groom, then to the protagonist. After the conversation in the infirmary return to the bridge and talk to the groom again. You'll switch over to the protagonist, go to the bridge. At the door you'll overhear a conversation, run to the south east corner of the battleship and escape with a ship. Once you control Conchelle again, move to the infirmary and talk to the door, then go to the hangar as well. Speak to the groom to take the spaceship.

- Enter the satellite next to wood star (brown planet). Speak to Pucchi to warp down. After the ensuing cutscene leave the basement and fight your way towards the east side of the village (Stock up on salad and juice from the nearby woodling corpses, repeatedly if you feel so inclined). Defeat the Kisechu guards at the cave entrance to the east. Inside the cave you'll face the Kisechu elite (666 HP) and his cronies, guarding Hemiola's battleship.

- Fight your way through the battleship and face

Hemiola (850 HP)

weak to: Poison, Fire

resistant to: Wood, Wind, all other status ailments

at the topmost part.

- In the torture chamber, talk to Nekozukin and select "I wonder what happened to...?"

- Step out of the room and move towards North, move past the locked door to enter Sera's chamber. Defeating Sera (450 HP) will give you the Card Key. You also need to pick up Nekozukin's cloak. Open the locked room with your card key/

- Pucchi will malfunction during warp. Enter the basement and use the warp point to get back to the satellite. Ride the spaceship to Poppichi's workshop (north east corner of space). While talking to Poppichi you're given the choice of upgrading Pucchi's specs into two possible types: Power type and support type. Get back to the entrance and inspect the ship. You'll be given another choice which decides whether Pucchi survives or turns into "Reincarnated Pucchi". Choose "Let's rest here" for Reincarnated Pucchi or "We'll go ahead and return to the ship" for Living Pucchi.

Living Pucchi will have either offensive or support abilities (depending on your previous choice) while Reincarnated Pucchi focuses on healing skills. (Reincarnated Pucchi will join you in the Moon World section, making it slightly easier)

- This is also your last opportunity to enter your mind/ learn skills before you go to the Moon World. If you buy the Magic Defense+ skill you'll have an easier time against the goddess and umibuta.

If you choose let's rest here, move to the bedroom (first door on the right when you enter the workshop), watch the scene and then ride the ship to the pon battleship. Otherwise get back to the pon battleship directly.

- You'll find yourself in the Moon World/Reincarnation Realm. Move to the topmost screen and talk with the Moon Princess. Go back down and look for the blue ghosts of the protagonist and Kimiru. Activate the grey warp crystal and talk to the Moon Princess again. You'll be transported to a lunar bedroom. Past the door is an area that looks like a red lake. You need to find the reincarnated Nekoashi Konbu and Nekozukin, just talk to the small kittens strolling around the area. Then talk to the sewer monster called Umibuta-kun

Angel Monster (1400 HP)

weak to: Sleep, Poison, Afraid, Fire, Wood, Star,

resistant to: Water, Dark, Light, all other status ailments

He is stuck in limbo, and as atonement you'll have to help him move on - which requires you to defeat him. Occasionally he attacks with Water lv.3/all, inflicting heavy damage on characters without elemental resistance.

- Once Umibuta-kun passes on, you'll enter a purple lake area. Talk to Kana whenever you want to fully heal your party. Prepare yourself to battle the

Four Goddesses (440 HP each)

weak to: all ailments, Dark,

resistant to: Star

atop the hill. Immediately after the first battle you'll have to face the Moon Princess(a.k.a. Moon Goddess) without an opportunity to rest, so you should heal yourself before you finish off the goddesses.

Moon Goddess (1800 HP)

weak to: Poison, Cut, Dark

resistant to: Blunt, Star, Light, all other status ailments

The Moon Goddess will attack you with Star lv.3/all approximately each 5th turn inflicting heavy damage. Buying Star Amulets from Hochi is recommended. All the bosses have a crippling weakness to Dark, but unfortunately you don't have any options to cause Dark damage yet.

- After the ensuing scene your whole party will be split into two teams: Conchelle will go to Aqua Star with the Groom and Pucchi. Kimiru will go to Fire Star with Nekozukin and Nekoashi Konbu. Remember that you can also choose a 4th helper character from the submenu.

- Go to the blue planet and talk to the great fish in the water tank. The little cloud Kumomo next to him will offer to take you to the ground. Just move south, once you reach the ground go to the lake. The reincarnated Umibuta will join you and help you explore the seas. Search for Elegy's base in the north section of the underwater area.

- After you enter Elegy's base and watch the scene with Windie, you'll take control of Pian and his underling. Habanera will task you with finding an orchestra and a singer. Leave the room through the window (just like you've entered in chapter 1) and find the orchestra on the east side of the garden. Defeating them is very easy with 1 or 2 uses of Star lv.2/all. Enter the sewers on the screen left of the orchestra and move to Sewer Town. Enter the bar in the south east corner.

- Now you'll play as Conchelle again. Search for Elegy in the northernmost room of the base

Elegy (1800 HP)

weak to: Poison, Fire, Dark

resistant to: Stab, all other status ailments,

immune to: Blind, Afraid, Water, ATK/DEF decrease

Note that you Elegy will frequently increase his defense and attack - you can't decrease these stats with skills since he's immune. You can use ATK/DEF increase skills on your side - or endure his powered up attacks and use lots and lots of healing.

- Now it's Kimiru's turn, depart for Fire Star (the red planet). The red house in the bottom right corner of the candle town belongs to the Aroma Chief, talk to him to add him to your party, then leave through the bottom left exit of the village.

- The path leads up a mountain to Aireair's ship, where the Aroma Chief will melt. Equip your party members and save before you enter the ship because Kimiru gets trapped (The helper member won't join during the battle against Aireair, but Kimiru learns "summon Kassie" to do fire/wind multitarget damage). Move towards the north of the base. Talk to Kassie to start the battle against

Aireair (1700 HP)

weak to: Poison, Water

resistant to: all other status ailments

immune to: Fire, Wood, ATK/DEF decrease

After the battle return to the Pon ship.

- Go to the bridge. After watching the scene talk to the Kimiru robot to warp into the electricity. inspect the yellow point to warp to the plaza. Buy items in the houses to the sides as needed, then talk to the 2bit! in the north exit to make him move out of the way. Follow the path until you encounter the

Kisechu Virus/Electricity (1350 HP)

weak to: Poison, Sleep, Earth

resistant to: all other status ailments

immune to: ATK/DEF decrease

After the battle you'll be moved back to the plaza, speak to the 2bit! next to you to get warped to your house.

- From the house, retrace your steps back through the garden and make way for the Port Town. On the way you can talk to the Ant Queen for a parting gift. In Port Town enter the bar in the southeast and talk to the pon, after a scene you'll be warped to Pon Town. Fight your way to the West to return to the dock where you found the Pon ship, you'll run into Pian and Habanera.

Pian (1900 HP)

weak to: Poison, Confuse, Water, Fire

resistant to: all other status ailments

immune to: Wood, Star, Wind, Earth, Dark

You'll fight Habanera immediately after Pian.

Habanera (2500 HP)

weak to: Poison, Stab, Wind

resistant to: Blunt, all other status ailments

immune to: Earth, ATK/DEF decrease)

Final Chapter: Towelket One More Time[]

- You can prepare for the final level as needed. Poppichi placed warping robots in the East exit of Pon Town, and you can enter the Pon Ship to travel to the other planets. (Warning: due to a bug it's possible to get stuck on Wood Star in this stage of the game, so you should save your game before you enter). The Magic shop inside your mind now sells the powerful Light and Dark magic tomes. When you are done preparing, talk to Poppichi.

- Board the fighter and travel East. Inside the Kisechu base you'll find vending machines which sell the most powerful gear, among them the almighty Lovelips Collar that grants resistances to nearly every element. Push towards the East and attack the

revived Sera (2400 HP)

weak to: all status ailments, Wind, Earth, Dark

resistant to: ATK/DEF decrease

immune to: Star

The left machine casts healing spells, the right ATK/DEF buffs. Both machines are vulnerable to all ailments and have no resistances, and each one has only 690 HP. You can bombard Sera and her machines with ailments and take out one enemy at a time, or all of them with multitarget spells.

- The final battle awaits you, save your game before you enter the next screen. The Zucche battle has two phases, and you have no opportunity to rest in between, so make sure you are well healed at all times.

Phase 1: Lord Zucche (3300 HP)

weak to: Poison, Light

immune to: Dark, ATK/DEF decrease, all other status ailments

Zucche knows the Dark spell, but will use it only very rarely (due to a priority error in his battle behavior in the database) . Refill your HP/MP before you finish him off.

Phase 2: Zucche (3500 HP)

weak to: Sleep, Light

resistant to: ATK/DEF decrease

immune to: Dark, ATK/DEF decrease, all other status ailments

Fish Hat Remnants (650 HP each)

weak to: all status ailments

The remnants all have similar weaknesses and immunities like in their previous battles, e.g. Habanera is weak to Wind and immune to Earth. The remnants can only use a single weak spell and can be shut down effectively with ailments. Zucche gains a weakness to Sleep here, shut him down with Night lv.2 and take out the remnants first (magic attacks don't wake up a sleeping enemy).

- After the battle escape the same way you got here, and on the last screen move north for the escape pods. After the ensuing scene move to the East exit of Pon town and enter the top room to talk to Conchelle. Say goodbye to everyone and then talk to Nekoashi to watch the ending.
