Described as a bundle of energy, Nekoashi Otome Konbu (猫足乙女＝昆布) is playful, lively, and energetic girl who first debuted in her own game Kaiketsu! Nekoashi Otome-Chan
Since then, she has appeared in other games such as Yoru no Umi de Otsukisama wo Tsuru.
Whenever she appears, Roppenchu will serve as her mother, though it's unknown who her father is.
Appearance[]
Nekoashi Otome typically appears as a pink-haired cat girl sporting a heart antenna on top of her head, akin to Nekoashi-Konbu. She dons a pink dress with a red bow attached to her chest and a white cat tail that extends from the bottom.
In Yorumorukimiri, her design undergoes a significant transformation as she adopts the unsettling appearance of a creepy anthropomorphic cat, complete with pink eyelashes. From Dekapari and onwards, Nekoashi is notably missing her heart antenna
Towelket: One More Time 3[]
She makes a cameo in the MV remake where she's apparently a household cat girl. She only appears in Kachils room when he is selected as the protagonist. All three main characters can also find her "Inside the mind", where she can give advice and change the game difficulty.
Kaiketsu! Nekoashi Otome-chan[]
Her first appearance and the namesake heroine of the game. She is an 8 year old girl who lives inside a simple home with her mother Roppenchu. She dreams of starting her own bakery but to do so, she has to first earn money, and as such has enlisted herself with the Kitty Special Forces in order to earn enough money to open her bakery.
Despite not being very smart, she scores well on her military tests and is loved by her colleagues and superiors who fawn over her for her cheerful personality and cuteness (Often to a perverted extent). She develops an especially strong bond with Nekojita, a trainee who becomes infatuated with her. Her training gets interrupted however as Maiden Bomb begin their invasion of the planet and shoot down her plane, causing her to crash in the ocean.
After crashing, she ends up on a seemingly deserted island which is occupied by Ponpe, who causes her to catch a cold when she makes her sleep naked. After calling a vet who shoves a thermometer Otome's butt, her personality switches, adopting a hick accent and losing her memories. She soon discovers that Ponpe is a crazed cannibal who plans to devour her and escapes the island. Unsure of where to go, she stumbles into Lasagna's church and adopts a new name: Sister Crawfish.
After a year, the Kitty Special Forces who are lead by Nekojita save her from being killed by Ms. Prayer during a sermon. They eventually bring her back to her mother, who reverts her personality back to normal. From there she and the rest of the party continue on to stop Maiden Bomb from taking over the planet.

| Agochu, Pucchi, and co (bar Nekojita, who was exiled at that time) would later learn that Otome isn't 8, but instead an 18 year old who has "Catnip disease", an affliction which, as the Groom explains, makes learning difficult and the cause of Otome's subpar intelligence. Due to her condition, she was subject to bullying from other children and possibly caused her father to leave the family as well. After becoming depressed over her inability to learn, Roppenchu buys Otome a video game starring a magical girl who shares the same name as her. Otome adopts her personality, becoming the cheerful Nekoashi Otome that the game starts out with. |
In game she is a playable party member, who is either the primary character of the party or an optional party member who can be switched in and out depending on the game state. Her unique weapons are the Kitty Magnums, a pair of guns. She has access to healing spells as well as gun themed attacks.
Warau Warawau[]
Appears as Princess Nekoashi Otome, along with Princess Conchelle.
Yoru no Umi de Otsukisama wo Tsuru[]
One of the heroines. She's a small fairy that lives with her mother Roppenchu in Barrieland. Despite her appearance she's actually 23 years old and Roppenchu forces Nekoashi to lie about her age in an attempt to cover up her own age as Nekoashi's mother.
Depending on a choice at the beginning of the game, Nekoashi may accompany Moochasu to Barrieland which leads to his temporary disappearance.
Yorumorukimiri[]
She appears as a creepy cat-like creature instead of her usual humanoid self. She plays a minor role in this game. Nekoashi Otome will greet Moochasu and co. inside of Word Salad's play room before walking off. In another instance, she can be seen guarding Mogumogu Burger to prevent the player from entering. Interacting with her will result in an unwinnable battle.
Yorumorukimiri ~Shippoutachi no Kizuna~[]
A member of the Nyafuruto tribe, Nekoashi Otome is one of the freshman students of class C attending the Deudeu School. Throughout the first chapter, she is worried that she isn't smart enough to pass the test to receive an Angel. Her roommate is Nyanyamo, a class D student she initially finds scary however as the story progresses, the two begin to have a close relationship, Nekoashi going as far as to call Nyanyamo her big sister.

Dekapari[]
In Dekapari, Nekoashi Otome is a popular idol. She first appears in Mogumogu Burger along with Mitsue to do an advertisement after the one with Ponpe from the other day ended up in a fight with the the manager Okappa.
As an idol, she often has to deal with stalker and obsessive fans like Nekojita who tries to get her to sign marriage documents while she's rehearsing.
Towelket One More Time: Kemono[]
She is scheduled to make an appearance in Kemono. She is first introduced in Tantanuki's chapter, as a student and classmate of his at PonPon School.
